Yale's Sterling Memorial Library
On Wednesday July 2nd, we had the chance to visit two of Yale's libraries to meet various archivists and specialists and learn about a range of unique topics. The session about the Fortunoff Video Archive for Holocaust Testimonies was harrowing but provided a very interesting insight into the special nature of this type of primary evidence. A session on Human Rights and IGOs provided us with the chance to learn more about the principles of human rights as well as how to use some of Yale's innumerable resources and databases in order to do research. The experience was very valuable and a great way to explore interesting issues that we may never had the opportunity to learn about before in a truly impressive setting.
