"Till now I remember those two intense weeks of academic life, new acquaintances and, of course, the awesome experience that I acquired from the wonderful professors and individuals at Yale. It was the place where my dreams began…"

I remember when I first stepped into the courtyard of Jonathan Edwards College. It was the moment of excitement, happiness and fear. Soon, I realized that the latter was not the case, but the opposite: it was the start of new culture, adventures and, the most important, new people.

Every minute spent in the program was one separate story, full of laugh and true happiness. Turn to the left and see your friends from all over the world, turn to the right and see the majestic buildings of Yale University, where the unique seminars, lectures and discussions were waiting for you. Every other second was a new step into the depth of the Yale History and a step forward into your self-consciousness. I felt inspired when I saw other students’ eyes shining as brightly as mine; it was the time to collaborate and make a change, and this was common in all of us.

I am sure, all of the participants will remember the process of the capstone projects, as it was both challenging and fun. Listening to each other, brainstorming, collaborating and finding your own solutions to the global problems… Everything was amazingly interesting and academic. Every time you went to the lecture or to the capstone, you felt that you’re not alone: there are another 199 students concerned with the same global problems, and you really felt encouraged to make a difference.

Till now I remember those two intense weeks of academic life, new acquaintances and, of course, the awesome experience that I acquired from the wonderful professors and individuals at Yale. It was the place where my dreams began…
